Note – schools scheduled to play a “Late Entry” should check the KSFA website for any updates. The deadline for late entries is Saturday 19th September

If the result of a game has not been submitted by midday on the Monday following the deadline date, and no information relating to a legitimate delay in playing it has been received, the game will be determined by the KSFA by the toss of a coin.

The home school is responsible for appointing a neutral, qualified referee who is registered with a County FA for both the Quarter and Semi Finals.

IMPORTANT

THIS COMPETITION IS 9 v 9 – IN ACCORDANCE WITH FA RULES. GOAL SIZES MUST BE EITHER 7’ x 16’ OR 7’ x 21’. RECOMMENDED PITCH SIZE IS 80 YARDS x 50 YARDS.  IF THE HOME SCHOOL DOES NOT HAVE A PITCH AND GOALS THAT CONFORM TO THESE SIZES, THE MATCH MUST BE SWITCHED TO THE AWAY SCHOOL

Reminders

  • Players must be over 11 and under 12 as at midnight 31st August/1st September 2026 (i.e. in Year 7 in the 2026-2027 academic year).
  • Any player who plays in this competition is ineligible to play in the KSFA Under 12 Denis O’Donovan Trophy, the KSFA Under 12 Kengate-Beasley Trophy, and the KSFA Under 13 Kent Messenger Shield. Schools that breach this requirement will be removed from all applicable competitions. They ARE eligible to play in the KSFA U13 Alessia Russo Trophy.
  • Matches are 30 minutes each way. Extra time of 10 minutes each way must be played in all games that are level at the end of normal time.  If scores remain level, the tie must be decided by penalties.
  • Matches must be played as scheduled and, in accordance with the undertakings given by schools when entries were submitted, must avoid curriculum time for playing and travelling whenever possible. Matches can only be played in midweek by mutual agreement – failing such agreement, they must be played on a Saturday.
  • The winning school is responsible for entering the result (and the goalscorers for both teams) on the KSFA website within two hours – failure to do so may incur a fine of £10.00.
  • Schools are expected to fulfil their responsibilities to their own players and to other schools in the competition - withdrawal from the competition may be subject to a fine of £50.00
