Charles Harvey Holders: Medway SFA ~ Twenty Twelve Holders: Brighton & Hove SFA

Charles Harvey of Medway SFA was General Secretary of Kent Schools FA from its foundation in 1921 to 1950, and ESFA Chairman in 1934-35. The Twenty-Twelve Trophy was introduced in 2012, the same year as the London Olympic Games.

IMPORTANT NOTES

This is an 11 v 11 U14 Trophy Event for Year 8 players only

Matches should kick-off at 10.00. This time can be varied by mutual agreement, or when the away team has a journey of more than 50 miles (one direction), or when the KSFA deems it necessary for there to be an earlier or later kick-off. Duration of matches: 2 x 35 minutes. Size 4 football.

Players must be over the age of 12 years and under the age of 13 years at midnight between 31st August and 1st September 2026 (Year 8 only).

The Home District is responsible for appointing and paying a neutral and qualified referee who holds a current DBS certificate. The Home District should provide suitable changing accommodation (including toilets) for both teams and the referee, and refreshments after the match.

Competition format: there will be two groups. Teams will play each other twice, home and away. The group phase will be followed by two knock-out competitions: the Charles Harvey Trophy for the winners and runners-up in each group, and the Twenty-Twelve Trophy for the teams placed 3rd to 6th.
