IMPORTANT

This is an 9 v 9 U12 Trophy Event for Year 7 players only.

Matches should kick-off at 10.00. This time can be varied by mutual agreement, or when the away team has a journey of more than 50 miles (one direction), or when the KSFA deems it necessary for there to be an earlier or later kick-off. Duration of matches: 2 x 35 minutes. Size 4 football.

Players must be over the age of 11 years and under the age of 12 years at midnight between 31st August and 1st September 2026 (Year 8 only).

The Home District is responsible for appointing and paying a neutral and qualified referee who holds a current DBS certificate. The Home District should provide suitable changing accommodation (including toilets) for both teams and the referee, and refreshments after the match.

Competition format: there will be 10 group games for each district. Teams will play each other once, and then play further games, making 10 in total (9 in the S&E group which has an odd numbers of teams). The group phase will be followed by two knock-out competitions: the A B Taylor Trophy for the winners and runners-up in each group, and the Holy Cross Trophy for the teams placed 3rd to 8th.

GOAL SIZES MUST BE EITHER 7’ x 16’ OR 7’ x 21’. FULL SIZE GOALS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. RECOMMENDED PITCH SIZE IS 80 YARDS x 50 YARDS.  IF THE HOME DISTRICT DOES NOT HAVE A PITCH AND GOALS THAT CONFORM TO THESE REQUIREMENTS, THE MATCH MUST BE SWITCHED TO THE AWAY DISTRICT.
