Note – schools scheduled to play a “Late Entry” should check the KSFA website for any updates. The deadline for late entries in this competition is Saturday 13th September.

If the result of a game has not been submitted by midday on the Monday following the deadline date, and no information relating to a legitimate delay in playing it has been received, the game will be determined by the KSFA by the toss of a coin.

The Home school must obtain a neutral qualified referee who is registered with the County FA, for Quarter-Final and Semi-Final matches.

This competition is for schools that have fewer than 50 boys in roll in Year 7 and the B teams of larger schools that have also entered the KSFA U12 Denis O’Donovan Trophy. Players who play in this competition are ineligible to play in the KSFA Under 12 Denis O’Donovan Trophy, the KSFA U12 Girls Cup, the KSFA U13 Keith Kitney Trophy or the KSFA Under 13 Alessia Russo Cup. Schools that breach this requirement will be removed from both applicable competitions.

IMPORTANT

THE FORMAT FOR THIS COMPETITION IS 9 v 9. GOAL SIZES MUST BE EITHER 7’ x 16’ OR 7’ x 21’. FULL SIZE GOALS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. RECOMMENDED PITCH SIZE IS 80 YARDS x 50 YARDS.  IF THE HOME SCHOOL DOES NOT HAVE A PITCH AND GOALS THAT CONFORM TO THESE REQUIREMENTS, THE MATCH MUST BE SWITCHED TO THE AWAY SCHOOL

REMINDERS

  • Players who play in this competition are ineligible to play in the KSFA Under 12 Denis O’Donovan Trophy, the KSFA U12 Girls Cup, the KSFA U13 B Team Cup or the KSFA Under 13 Girls Cup. Schools that breach this requirement will be removed from both applicable competitions.
  • Players must be over 11 and under 12 as at midnight 31st August/1st September 2025 (i.e. in Year 7 in the 2025-2026 academic year)
  • Matches are 30 minutes each way. Extra time of 10 minutes each way must be played in all games that are level at the end of normal time.  If scores remain level, the tie must be decided by penalties.
  • Matches must be played on or before the deadlines. Matches can only be played in midweek by mutual agreement – failing such agreement, they must be played on a Saturday. If the result of a game has not been submitted by midday on the Monday following the deadline date, and no information relating to a delay in playing it has been received, the game will be determined by the KSFA by the toss of a coin.
  • The winning school is responsible for entering the result (and the goalscorers for both teams) on the KSFA website within two hours – failure to do so may incur a fine of £10.00.
  • Schools are expected to fulfil their responsibilities to their own players and to other schools in the competition - withdrawal from the competition may be subject to a fine of £50.00.
