Under 12's v Millwall FC

We began the game playing confident putting early pressure on a strong Millwall team, and made some really good chances to score. Towards the end of the first half Millwall started to get back in the game. Callum had to pull off some great saves to keep it 0-0 but, unfortunately, Millwall broke through leading to Kent conceding a goal. Kent continued to play direct long balls and were patient with the ball. The team had a solid performance in the first half.

After some changes we started the second half strong once again, playing some amazing football. But once again Millwall struck again to make the score 2-0. We all kept our heads up and got a well-deserved goal coming from a brilliant set piece. The goal was scored from a free kick around the halfway line.  Joe whipped a teasing ball into the box and sharp movement from Ethan led him to get a touch on the ball to make the score 2-1. Kent finished the second half strongly putting the pressure on Millwall but unfortunately, the final whistle was blown. After a brave performance, we  lost 2-1
