COUNTY CHAMPIONS!

Congratulations to Gravesham Schools Under 11s, who are the first County Champions of the 2017-18 season!

They won the Kent finals of the ESFA inter-district 7 a sides, sponsored by Danone, after emerging victorious from their group, and then winning the final group stage that also comprised BSA and Orpington.

It was a triumph for Garvesham’s long-serving manager Peter Hughes who this season celebrates 40 years involvement with Gravesham.

Gravesham can now look forward to the South-East Finals in March, when they will face the winners of the eleven other counties in the region. The regional winners proceed to the national final, and the overall winners then represent England in the Danone Nations Cup. Last season’s national champions, Middlesbrough, took part in the international finals in New York.
