U14 Boys Earn Well Deserved Win Against Surrey

Saturday, 28th January 2017

Kent produced an excellent effort, despite only having a squad of 12 to select from. GEORGE BAKER-MORAN settled any early nerves with a calm finish after cutting in from the right side. Kent had a great opportunity to double the lead but the opportunity was spurned. Surrey came out for the second half in a determined fashion and deservedly scored to make things level. The key moment of the game came when Surrey were awarded a penalty, only for JORDAN GILMORE to pull off an outstanding save. GEORGE BAKER-MORAN then both won and converted a penalty for Kent and the game finished 2 - 1 in favour of Kent Schools.
