Meanwhile, in the Under 11 competition, Minterne Junior School repeated the achievement and will now play at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 18th May at the League 2 Play-off Finals. The KSFA wishes both schools the best of luck for the finals!
One of the KSFA’s Under 14 county players, Dan Kemp, has been given a four-year scholarship by Premiership Chelsea. In thanking the KSFA for the part played by the county in supporting his son’s development, Dan’s father wrote:
“Dan has very much enjoyed being a part of KSFA and has loved representing them through the age groups both domestically against other counties, training squads, monthly training sessions and in tournaments abroad from Hazebrook, France in May 2010 to the successful tour of Florida over Christmas 2011. Dan has enjoyed the journey and would be united with me in thanking all those at Kent Schools who have helped him along the way. Huge thanks to Richard Crutchfield not only for his time in coaching and developing Dan (as an individual and a footballer) but also his understanding and accommodating manner towards Dan's hectic football schedule.”
The KSFA wishes Dan every success in his footballing future.
