Kent Schools Under 16's have reached the South-East Regional finals with a magnificent away victory against Norfolk Schools.
Severely depleted by injuries and illness, Kent made the long trip to Norwich and returned home with a 5-3 win after extra time. Kent went into a 2-0 lead, but Norfolk hit back and were leading 3-2 with five minutes remaining. However, the Kent players showed great character to equalise and then score two more goals in extra time to earn a place in the regional final. All in all, a splendid achievement by the players and the Kent management team of Andy Raines and Richard Crutchfield.
The Under 16's joined their Under 15 counterparts in awaiting news of their opponents in the final.
