Kent Under 14’s gave a battling performance as they overcame a talented Oxfordshire side to reach the ESFA National Inter-County Final. Two first half goals from Perri Iandolo were the difference between the two teams, and Kent now await the winners of the Lancashire v Berkshire semi-final. It will be Kent’s second appearance in this final in three years, and they will be hoping to go one better this time, having lost to Merseyside on penalties in 2015.
Kent have the opportunity to make it a double at this age group, as the county’s girls’ team take on Inner London on Saturday 11th March. The girls defeated Surrey 6-1 in their final SEESFA League game, to top the group. There were hat-tricks from Amy Haynes and Tallulah Holy.
