The Kent Under 11 and U12s were hosted at the Brighton & Hove Albion development centre over the half-term break, and two entertaining games gave the Kent players valuable experience against strong opposition. The Under 11s had their first ever match together fixture and played well against a well organised Brighton side. The squad showed the team spirit and commitment expected of a county side and although going down 5-2, as the game progressed, the Kent side grew stronger and began put the Brighton under increased pressure. The goal scorers were Jack Falconer with a close range effort and a well taken free kit by Mark Cahill. Meanwhile the Under 12s played some excellent attacking football but eventually lost 5-3, with two goals from TJ Clements and one from Harry Hearn.
