U14 Boys win in ESFA National Q-F

Saturday, 7th February 2015

Kent Under 14’s moved smoothly into the ESFA national semi-finals with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Berkshire Schools. Playing a good passing game on the 3G surface at Tunbridge Wells Grammar School, Kent dominated the early play but were unable to convert chances into goals until a slick passing move saw Sam Skeffington slot the ball home. After half-time, a close range effort from Harry Taylor doubled the Kent lead, and a third from Tom Hanfrey settled the match. Kent will now have a home tie in the semi-finals against the winners of the Hampshire v Caerphilly quarter-final.
