Kent Schools Under 16’s moved into the quarter-finals of the ESFA National Cup with a impressive all-round team performance that saw them beat Surrey 5-2. This was a particularly fine achievement against a Surrey team that won the national competition two years ago, and also defeated Kent in the South-East Final last season.
Kent were 2-1 up at half-time, providing the platform for a comprehensive second-half display that saw them run out comfortable winners. Both Dominic Snee and Regan Payne scored twice, with the other Kent goal coming from Elliott Cutts. Kent now await the draw for the quarter-finals, which will be published on the ESFA website – www.esfa.co.uk
