Semi-final day for four of the Kent teams saw three of them heading into their respective finals. Pride of place must go to the Under 16’s, who beat Suffolk 7-3 to reach the South-East Final, in which they will be away to Sussex. Suffolk, unbeaten for two years and already in the ESFA National Under 16 Final, were swept away by a fine second-half performance from Kent, for whom Tunji Agbage (2), Ryan Croucher, Reeaz Colley, Ryan Norris, Lloyd Harrington and Elliott West were the scorers. On an adjacent pitch, the Kent Under 14’s beat Hertfordshire School 2-0 with goals from Mirkan Yerlikaya and Ashley Long, and their reward is a home SE Final against Middlesex.
The Under 15’s, meanwhile, made the long trip to Norwich to face Norfolk School, and returned with a 4-0 victory, courtesy of goals from Alfie Draper (2), Ruben Lameiras and Fennie Makuze. They now face a trip to Essex for the SE Final.
The Kent 18’s were the only team to miss out on a bug day, losing 2-0 to Gwent School in the semi-final of the ESFA National U18 County Championship.
