Four Kent players have been selected for this season’s ESFA Under 18 International Squad.
They are James O’Halloran (Wrotham School), Sam Orisatoki (Beths Grammar School), Josh Shonibare (Ravensbourne School, Bromley) and Josh Wisson (Maplesden Noakes School, Maidstone).
We would like to congratulate them on their selection, which is not only reflective of the talent, hard work and commitment they have shown, but is also a great credit to their parents and, of course, to their schools which, along with the Kent Schools FA, have provided them with the platform for their achievements. We wish them well in the forthcoming international programme:
vs Northern Ireland (away) 4th March
vs Wales (Bangor City FC) 18th March
vs Scotland (Fleetwood Town FC) 1st April
vs Republic of Ireland (Park Hall Stadium Oswestry) 8th April
Their selection continues the proud record of Kent in providing more players for the international squad than any other county over the past ten years – an indication of the quality and depth of the programme of schools’ football offered by the Kent Schools FA for the 16-19 age group and the tremendous work done by all of the county managers across the entire age range for which the opportunities for county representative football are available in Kent.
