Five of the KSFA's county squads were involved in international action over the Easter holiday period. Four took part in tournaments in France, whilst the Under 16 girls hosted a team on tour from Australia. Both the Under 12 boys and Under 14 girls won their respective tournaments in the Paris Disney International Festival of Football. The Under 12's won all five of their group games (including one against a team from Brazil) and cruised through the semi-final to face a French team in the final. Despite dominating the match, Kent found themselves a goal behind with just three minutes to go, but a last gasp equaliser took the game into extra time, and Kent ran out 3-1 winners.
The girls put in an equally impressive performance, and won their group with four victories in five games. They followed this with further wins in the semi-final and final, to clinch a double for Kent. The Under 11's narrowly missed completing a Kent hat-trick, when they lost to a strong team from FC Lens in the final of their tournament at Loon Plage. Kent qualified for the final by winning all five of their group matches and the semi-final without conceding a goal but in the final, watched by a bank holiday crowd of over a thousand, conceded two early goals. Despite some good chances to pull back the deficit, Kent had to settle for a very creditable second place in a tournament of 30 teams.
Along the coast at Le Portel, a KSFA Under 17 team were in a strong tournament comoprising teams from five different countries, with all of the other teams representing professional clubs. Despite the strength of the opposition, Kent finished in fourth place.
Back at home, the Under 16 girls won 8-0 against Mount St Benedicts College from Australia, with two goals each from Alessia Russo, Georgia Pearch, Charlie Spice and Sophie Walsh.
